COVID 19 Safety
I know that my clients have communications needs and may also have questions, so I’ve put together this short FAQ as a way to make sure your photo session is a comfortable experience for all. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to discuss a future project.
Physical distancing, between clients/subjects and crew, according to Ontario guidelines.
No more than four clients in the studio at a time to ensure adequate distancing.
Masks and distancing.
A hand sanitizer station is installed at our studio door and must be used immediately upon entering the studio.
Contactless thermometer will be utilized on everyone entering our studio; anyone showing a fever will be rescheduled. Clients are never charged for sessions cancelled/rescheduled for any health or family reason.
Photographer will preplan and set up in advance in order to minimize time/contact.
Frequent cleaning of studio and all common surfaces, especially change room/washroom.
Delineation of duties so that equipment and props are only handled by one person.
Remote/distanced and digital solutions will be prioritized over in person contact.
These guidelines are in place to ensure clear communication about available resources, individual duties, any challenges.
In practice, sessions are very similar to prepandemic times, with just a few simple things we do to keep all of us safer.
Thank you!
I am monitoring information from ontario.ca, capic.org (Canadian Association of Professional Image Creators) and ppoc.ca (Professional Photographers of Canada) and will revise as new information becomes available.
